MARIMAR ESTATE LA MASIA PINOT NOIR
- Bright cherry color and intense nose of raspberries, clove and cinnamon
- Well balanced, with length and weight
- Ample tannins promise a long life
Marimar Torres, the fourth generation of the TORRES family, has been involved in the wine business all her life. She set her eyes on California and making it her home in 1975. She was the best-known ambassador of Spanish wines in America. In 1986, she selected a privileged place in the Russian River/Green Valley in Sonoma County, to set up her own winery. Because of her European heritage, emphasis on the vineyard was a natural concept for Marimar. The wines, made entirely from estate-grown grapes, are truly an expression of their terroir.
"This is a light-bodied, lightly textured wine from one of the producer's coolest sites, minty and herbal in a taste of forest floor and strawberry. Citrus and pomegranate provide additional crispness and freshness on the palate."
