The white peach and tropical fruit aromas of the Pacific Rim Riesling are muted, and made more complex by juniper and a faint slate-y notes. The wine is startlingly succulent for so dry a wine, and it's best with lighter foods.

Pacific Rim Riesling is ideal with spicy Thai and Mexican cuisine, and even rich cuisine such as French and German.

"Mandarin orange, jasmine and honeysuckle aromas leap up. It drinks medium dry with a broad feel and a floral lift on the finish. The palate wants a bit more acid but this wine is appealing."
