Stag's Leap Cellar ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon
- Aromas of dark cherry and berry fruit
- Smooth entry with a rich mouthfeel explosive flavors
- Lingering aftertaste of black cherry and dusty cocoa
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is considered one of Napa Valley's first growths. Founded in 1970, today Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is best known for its estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon – Cask 23, S.L.V and Fay – which are fashioned to express classic elegance, structure, and ageability, and to reflect the place in which these wines are grown.
"A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis (a barrel sample) is a deep garnet-purple color with a lovely nose of pure cassis and blackberries with earth and herbal notions plus violets and an exotic spice waft. Medium to full-bodied, taut and muscular in the expressive mouth, it has grainy tannins and a long finish."
